About Mango Thai
Located at 5001 Monroe St, Toledo, OH 43623, Mango Thai operates as a pan-asian restaurant serving Toledo in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

With 3.5 out of 5 on Google from 30 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for pan-asian restaurants in Toledo. Recent reviews are the best guide.
Toledo is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Toledo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Atmosphere was great but, it's the mall so of course. Samples are better than than actual meal. Egg Rolls there are DISGUSTING! I'd never buy again. Rice was hard and crunchy. One of the workers was very rude.

Friendly service, free samples so you can decide what you like (I received three samples - smart marketing!), and good portions. The food is on par with what you get at other Asian fast food places. Not sure it was any better, but it definitely wasn't any worse. I'd never had Basil Chicken before though. It was good! I'd go back. The two workers that were working today were very nice, and friendly.

Every time I get Mango Thai the serving portions get smaller. On 2 different occasions I purchased combo 1, both times the chicken was hard and crunchy. When I complained to the woman that served me she acted like she didn't understand what I was saying and ignored me. The man that was there didn't intervene. I wasn't asking for a refund I was just asking for some chicken that wasn't burnt hard and crunchy. Today my granddaughter who works at Franklin Park mall brought mango Thai home for our Valentine dinner again the portion was so small and my grandaughter was overcharged for the combo 1.I won't be returning ever again. Mango Thai was delicious and had great portions when they first opened, now every time I purchase the combo 1 the woman that serves me charges me for a combo 2. It's pointless to argue about being over charged for the combo 1, the woman ignores me every time. If your prices have changed you should change the price on the combo sign.

I was excited when Mango Thai opened at the mall β my first visit was great! The food was delicious, and I thought Iβd found a new favorite spot. However, my second experience was so uncomfortable that Iβm not sure Iβd recommend it to anyone until they address their customer service issues. On my recent visit, I ordered a small plate, only to find out at the register that the worker had prepared and charged me for a larger, more expensive combo without my consent. When I clarified that Iβd only ordered a small plate, he responded, βI can put some of the food back,β with a dismissive attitude and zero remorse, making it incredibly awkward. It felt like I was being pressured to just go along with it, and as a college student on a tight budget, I really couldnβt afford to just "go with the flow." The workerβs attitude was snarky and unprofessional, and the lack of respect made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I was honestly angered by the experience. No one deserves to be treated that way, and I wouldnβt recommend Mango Thai to anyone until they can ensure that their staff treats customers with respect and integrity.

The chicken is delicious but the man that works there, at least the man that was working when me and my family came, was extremely rude. He rolled his eyes at us and tried charging 7.99 for a small side of pineapple chicken⦠when a combo is 8.99. Make it make sense! My family liked coming every once in a while but this honestly turned me off from ever coming again because he showed zero compassion.
